PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of a two million gallon per day (MGD) Modular Design Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) for Special Planning Area (SPA) 2. The Location is 15667 W. Planada Lane. This project will increase the overall SPA 2 capacity from 1.2 MGD to 3.2 MGD and will facilitate the ultimate phased build out of 12 MGD.

PROJECT UPDATE
CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
Loop checks and functional testing on the aeration basin mixers and blowers are complete. Loop checks have been completed on the rotary drum screens, membrane motor operated valves, permeate pumps flow indicators and chemical tote scales. The Zenon representative is on-site checking the membrane control system and assisting with equipment loop checks and functional testing. Wires continue to be pulled and terminated at the ultraviolet disinfection system, feed forward pumps, influent pump station, and permeate pumps. Discharge pipe is being installed at the influent pump station. Area light bases have been poured and wires pulled. The shade structure bases have been poured.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
Equipment loop checks and functional testing is on-going. Painting is on-going. The shade structures are due for delivery and installation in August. Site grading is being staked out for final grade. A flush line will be installed on the vadose wells in August. The 7-day water test is scheduled for the end of August contingent on the receipt of the Aquifer Protection Permit from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and an Approval to Commence Operations from Maricopa County.
