PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project will be designed and constructed by the City of El Mirage. It is the construction of a two-lane signalized intersection. City of Surprise will share the cost with the City of El Mirage. The budgeted amount will be reimbursed by the City of Surprise as per an Intergovernmental Agreement.

CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
October saw the commencement of the construction portion of this project. At this point in time, all work will be on the city of El Mirage's (COE) side of the project. The first hurdles to overcome are the existing utilities. The relocation of the existing utilities will last until the beginning of 2010. |
