PROJECT UPDATE
CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
We are finishing up the Roseview water supply facility and will essentially complete the first phase of construction for the SCADA system that originally started design in late 2005, with construction on a plant-by-plant basis starting in 2007 and continuing until now. The remaining Capital Improvement Program (CIP) money within this project is currently tied up as matching funds for an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Grant. Once the EPA has made a determination in November, these monies should become available again to proceed forward with the second phase of work. At this time, the completion date has been changed from October 2009 to November 2009 to reflect the the potential grant award.

WHAT'S NEXT
Once the CIP money becomes available, the City can move forward with a second phase of SCADA work for remote control of the plant sites (programming work primarily). In addition, we need to look at minor improvements to a couple of our sites and programming improvements to gather the data into useful reports used on a regular basis (such as daily chlorination reports).
