CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
This project is currently on hold. The design portion of this project was completed as part of the 30" reclaimed water line located at 136th Avenue and Peoria Avenue. Currently, the city of Surprise is working with the city of Phoenix on the development of an intergovernmental agreement to construct and deliver reclaimed water to the city of Phoenix property. The city's Environmental and Real Estate Divisions are working toward a satisfactory outcome for both the city of Surprise and city of Phoenix. Upon successful completion of the agreement, the Water Services Infrastructure Division will begin procurement with approximately six month's construction time expected to complete the turnouts. |
WHAT'S NEXT
This project is currently on hold. Upon approval of the intergovernmental agreement, Water Services will begin the procurement process. Construction of the three turnouts will commence along Peoria Avenue with expected delivery of approximately 15,000 gpm (gallons per minute) of reclaimed water to the farmer located on the south side of the road. |
