PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Design and construction of new pavement and drainage improvement for the subdivision located west of 219th Avenue and north of Sun Valley Parkway. The unpaved roads consist of approximately 3.27 miles. This project will include one lane in each direction and will require an approval from Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT).

Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding $1,700,000. Budget - FY09-$112,400, FY 10 - $148,200, FY15-$2,000,000, FY16-$39,400.
PROJECT UPDATE
CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
Design is currently at 35%. A public meeting was held September 16th to inform the residents about the project. The consultant has submitted the final design concept report (DCR) to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) with public comments. The environmental clearance document was submitted to ADOT for review on October 29th.
WHAT'S NEXT
The city has provided feedback for the right-of-way and construction guidelines. The final Design Concept Report (DCR) has been submitted for approval to ADOT. ADOT has approved the preliminary report to proceed with a geotechnical investigation. It is expected that ADOT will approve the final DCR in November, 2009.
