PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) of Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) has outlined that a regional park and ride facility shall be in Surprise to serve existing and future transit routes along Bell Road and Grand Avenue. This project consists of site selection, land purchase, design and construction of a park and ride facility consisting of 230 parking spaces. Additional amenities may include passenger shelters, vertical shade screens, bicycle racks, and seating.

PROJECT UPDATE
CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
The Park and Ride's curb and gutter and all underground plumbing and electrical was completed in July. The driver's restroom facility began to take shape with the erection of the walls and placement of the roof.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
August will see continued work on the parking lot itself. The lot's subgrade will be placed and paving should take place in near the end of the month. The restroom's finishes will also begin installation at the end of August.
