PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) of Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) has outlined that a regional park and ride facility shall be in Surprise to serve existing and future transit routes along Bell Road and Grand Avenue. This project consists of site selection, land purchase, design and construction of a park and ride facility consisting of between 300 and 600 parking spaces. Additional amenities may include passenger shelters, vertical shade screens, bicycle racks, and seating.

PROJECT UPDATE
CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
Due to the stipulations dictated by the purchase of the land, the site had to be redesigned. The design team began the site redesign in October and anticipates submitting a revised 60% design package to project team in November.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The project team anticipates presenting the Park and Ride project to the Planning and Zoning Commission in November. Upon receipt of the 60% design documents, the team will provide comments to the design team, who will proceed onto the completing the design in December.
