PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Located at the South Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), the existing digester tank (1) and post holding tank (1) are currently drained and empty and are in need of repairs which may include sandblasting, coatings, structural work, and lining (fiberglass).

CURRENT PROJECT STATUS
Autothermal Thermophic Aerobic Digestion (ATAD)#2 - metal work is complete, the second coat of fiberglassing has been installed and a leak test has been performed. A punch list has been distributed to MGC Contracting. For ATAD#1, the Mayor and Council approved a construction contract with RK Sanders July 23rd. A preconstruction meeting was held 8/27/2009, and construction began on 10/12/2009. The contractor is working in the metal phase. |
WHAT'S NEXT
The ATAD #1 contractor will completed the metal phase of the contract and apply the interior coatings and coat cap the roof. ATAD #2 leak test is complete and the contractor is closing out all remaining punch list items. |
